After one month’s break, Cabinet sits Thursday
The Cabinet meeting is going to be held on Thursday on a small scale after a hiatus of one month due to the coronavirus outbreak. The cabinet meeting is scheduled to begin at 11am at the Prime Minister’s official residence Ganobhaban with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Additional Secretary to the Cabinet Division Abdul Barik said the meeting would be held on a limited scale due to the coronavirus. Another official of the Cabinet Division said only three ministers will join the meeting alongside the Prime Minister.
The last Cabinet meeting was also held on a limited scale on April 6 with the participation of a small number of ministers maintaining social distancing rules.
