Prime Minister to address nation this evening

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to address the nation this evening (Thursday evening), marking the completion of her government’s two years in office after the December-30, 2018 general election.
The PM’s speech will simultaneously be broadcast by Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar as well as private TV channels and radio stations from 7:30pm, according to a press release of the Prime Minister’s Office.
On January 7, 2019, the Awami League government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, took office for the 3rd consecutive term with an overwhelming victory in the last general election held on December 30, 2018.
