The Prime Minister will physically attend the UN conference

A limited two-week UN conference will be held in New York. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the conference in September. In other words, this will be the first foreign visit of the Prime Minister after 19 months. Talking to reporters at the state guest house Padma on Monday (August 2), Foreign Minister. AK Abdul Momen gave this information.

The foreign minister said the 7th UN conference would be held in New York on a limited basis for two weeks from September 14. World leaders will begin speaking on September 21. The high-level conference will be held from September 21 to 26. We do not know which countries’ heads of state or government will be involved. But I hope Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead us.

Dr. Momen said, ‘This year’s conference will be very limited. The UN has asked for far fewer people to be evacuated. No side events will take place inside the UN headquarters. There will be two high-level meetings. With a nuclear power, which I took part in last time on behalf of the Prime Minister. Another will be about the world situation. During the visit, the Foreign Minister said that the Prime Minister may not have a direct meeting with any community in New York.
