Shakib Al Hasan put more pressure on troubled Australia. He bowled Moises Henriques with his first ball. Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Wade then took the helm of the team. Playing slowly, the two built a partnership of 36 runs. When Australia tried to take the game under their control, Nasum Ahmed attacked in the batting lineup again.

Capitan Matthew Wade tried to play the outside leg ball of Nasum and delivered the worst shot, resulting in the catch by Mustafizur Rahman. Wade scored 13 runs off 23 balls. After Matthew Wade’s departure, no one was able to survive on the wicket. Unfortunately, Ashton Agar fell into the hit wicket and returned for 7 runs.

Mitchell Marsh was increasing the discomfort in the Tiger camp by playing for one end. The batsman scored 45 runs off 45 balls before giving a great catch to Shariful Islam. Nasum Ahmed set the record for the best bowling of his career by dismissing him. The left-arm bowler took four wickets in the match. Besides Nasum, Mustafizur and Shoriful took 2 wickets each and Mehedi Hasan and Shakib took one wicket each. Earlier, Bangladesh has collected 131 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Australia captain Matthew Wade has won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first. Mohammad Naim and Soumya Sarkar opened the innings for Bangladesh. n the beginning, Naim hit a six in the first over of Mitchell Starc, but could not touch the balls properly with the bat. Soumya, on the other hand, suffering a lot with Hazelwood’s ball, resulting in the breakthrough of the opening partnership. Soumya bowled after playing a cut in the delivery of Josh Hazlewood. Soumya scored 2 runs off 9 balls.

Mohammad Naim was bowled for 30 runs while doing a reverse sweep in the delivery of Adam Zampa. Although Naim scored 30, his batting was worse. 20 of the 30 runs came from boundaries, the rest of 10 runs came from 25 balls – which is very slow in terms of T20 games. Even the way he was out was eye shore.

Shakib and Mahmudullah took the helm of the team after Naim’s departure. However, Mahmudullah played very slow innings to score. He later became the second victim of Hazlewood while reducing the gap between the ball and the run. Bangladesh captain scored 20 runs off 20 balls. Since then, Bangladesh batsmen have been coming and going from the dugout at regular intervals. Shakib scored the highest 36 runs for the team. Besides, Nurul Hasan Sohan was out for 3 and Shamim Patwari for 4.

In the end, Bangladesh got a medium-quality score in the cameo of Afif Hossain’s run. Josh Hazlewood took three wickets for Australia alone. Mitchell Starc took two wickets while Andrew Tye and Adam Zampa took one wicket each. The two teams will meet tomorrow in the second T20 of the series. The game will start at 6 pm Bangladesh time.
