Husband and wife and their young son were hacked to death at Mostafa’s house in Madhyam Sonapahar village of Jorarganj union of Mirsarai’s Jorarganj police station late on Wednesday night. The deceased were identified as Mostafa Mia, 56, his wife Josna Akhter, 45, and son Ahmed Hossain, 25.
Mostafa ‘s eldest son Chadek Hussein Saddam, 30, has been detained for questioning. Upon receiving the news, Jorarganj police came and cordoned off the spot.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Jorarganj Police Station Nur Hossain Mamun said the PBI has been informed to come to the spot. When they arrive, the bodies will be recovered and the next step will be taken.
