Elections will be held whether BNP comes or not: Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that whether BNP comes or not, the next election will be held according to the constitution. He said, BNP is again dreaming of One/Eleven by influencing foreigners. Eating bananas in mind with caretaker government. There is no use in this nightmare. He said these things at the peace rally organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League at Hazaribagh ground on Tuesday (June 13).

“The time of Sheikh Hasina and Awami League is over” – Criticizing the comments of BNP leaders, the general secretary of Awami League said, when is the time over? When will this end? BNP has been saying the same thing for the last 14 years. Obaidul Quader talked about the solution of load shedding and increase in commodity prices. He said, load shedding will be completely stopped. Prices of daily commodities and crisis will decrease. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina thinks about the people of the country, which no one else thinks. The Prime Minister also went to different countries to solve the energy problem.

He also said that when people are happy with Sheikh Hasina’s achievements, BNP is upset. BNP has failed by jumping to foreigners. He also claimed that the US visa policy will be applied against those who obstruct the fair elections. Obaidul Quader said that BNP is disappointed with the participation of people in the two city elections. They had nightmares that the common man would also boycott the vote. If Awami League is defeated, BNP will say that the election was fair. Besides, they will never accept fair elections.

General Secretary of Awami League said, BNP is a party that does not care about law and justice. The High Court quashed the caretaker government. Nowhere in the developed world is a government as strange as a caretaker government. BNP is eating bananas in mind with caretaker government. They are dreaming of One Eleven once again impressing foreigners. There is no use in this nightmare.

He said, we do not need a caretaker government that will burn people and create chaos in the country. Whether BNP comes or not, the election will be held according to the constitution.
